Overview
The LOGICAL SYSTEMS Manufacturing Intelligence app sits on top of one or more Inductive Automation Ignition Historian installations and automates the extraction, transformation and storage of operational KPIs, metrics and contextual information from timestamped and relational data sources. Continuous metric calculations give an up-to-date, near real-time view of performance, so users can analyse and map performance data, compare KPIs such as OEE across sites and monitor the most critical metrics.
All metrics and context are stored in an open information model that gives individuals, data warehouses and enterprise business intelligence tools a single version of the truth. Rather than replacing existing plant-floor and enterprise systems, Manufacturing Intelligence adds context to them and bridges the IT/OT divide, whether data comes from the Ignition Historian, MES, ERP, LIMS or legacy systems. Dashboards are published to Ignition Perspective and can be used from web browsers and mobile devices.
